The Quick match is to find team mates fast and to avoid team stacking, (joined elite crew waiting for randoms, high skillers that are melt together to punish low skillers that dont know each other and play their deck for the first time, having no Idea what awaits them). So if players are too silly for you, you start to find a heart with the ranked. That has a very positive side, because the people play serious and dont make weird things - because they want to win. (With predefined and never changing game conditions).
